Social Media King of Fort Lauderdale

"social media king fort lauderdale" I know it’s a crazy title. Quite childish almost, but it’s what gets me up every morning. Wanting to be the best. Wanting to dominate the social media scene in Fort Lauderdale. It’s challenging work, there’s a ton of competition, working with international freelancers will definitely put a few gray hairs on you, but I’d say it’s well worth it. And oh yea, don’t forget to look out for the clients from hell. I learned the hard way, that all business isn’t created equal, and any reputable service professional should choose who he/she works with.

Among other things I participate in while on the road to social media royalty, my favorite happens to be networking events. I guess you can call me a networking man-whore, but do you really want to start a name calling session?…Good, because I know how to track Ip-addresses…yea ;)

One of the organizations in Fort Lauderdale l interact with the most is Emerge Broward. I’ve found running a solo-preneur business can tax heavily on your corporate etiquette, and without practice, subconscious slip ups occur during board meetings with clients, so attending EB’s meetings a few times per month works perfect for balancing my left sided world.

Side Note on Emerge Broward:

It’s a large group on the outside, but when you get to the core of members running operations, it’s just a handful of very down to earth, young, and motivated professionals, who are genuinely interested in cultivating the Fort Lauderdale community; not to mention helping other young professionals build their social networks.

Anyway, this marks year 2 of my audacious scheme to monopolize on small-mid sized business that need social media marketing to grow their brands.

If you don’t have a goal you’re anxious to fulfill when you wake up in the morning, I guess it’s time you re-evaluate things. By the end of this year, if we make it past 12/21 (crossing fingers) I’m hoping someone dubs me the social media king of Fort Lauderdale, or else I’d have to do it myself. At this point you maybe thinking I fall somewhere in the category of people that buy trophies…hmmmmmm, makes you think doesn’t it.
